Student Account Activation

• Before you can use your MyWashburn/MyWashburnTech account, you must:
  • Complete the Account Activation form which requires your AAC and Washburn Identification Number (WIN).
  • Set up security questions and answers in case you forget your password
  • Create an initial MyWashburn/MyWashburnTech password
• Activation codes are emailed to you when you are newly admitted via the email address you provided on your application.
• You may request to have your activation emailed again
• You can get your activation code at the following offices on campus:

  • Admissions Office (Morgan 114, 785-670-1030)
  • University Registrar Office (Morgan 115, 785-670-1074)
  • CUSP Office (Morgan 122, 785-670-2299)
  • Mabee Library
  • Law Library (law students only)

E-mail Accounts

E-mail accounts are assigned by ITS after you have been entered into the system by the Admissions Office.

• There is one e-mail account per individual.
• Accounts are NOT to be shared.
• E-mail account information is the same as MyWashburn account information.
• To retrieve initial account information, activate your account.
• If you forget your password, answer your security questions to retrieve it.
