Art After School (AAS) brings art to after-school sites, where kids have the time and freedom to get creative. And it's not just their artistic abilities that flourish - art education fosters their problem-solving, critical-thinking, and team-building skills, too (Americans for the Arts). It's a win-win!

How It Works
AAS teachers visit selected sites every other week for a total of 12 one-hour art lessons. Kids build a great foundation of art knowledge, learning about art processes and the elements of design.
Free to selected after-school programs
Art education can bolster kids' academic achievement, decrease delinquent behavior, and improve their feelings about themselves and the future (National Endowment for the Arts).
