18th annual Mountain/Plains Art Fair
When the first weekend of June rolls around, so does the Mulvane's annual Art Fair! In 2010, the open-air festivities drew nearly 80 artists from across the country to display works in an array of media:
Also in the line-up were a hands-on art station for kids; tasty food and beverage offerings; and live music from Pastense, WiseAcres, and Bridges.

Jane Booth and Ben Ahlvers, this year’s jurors, selected Eric Abraham, Lucas, KS, to receive the Best of Show Award,
Dan Engler, Ladue, MO, to receive the Best 2-Dimensional Award and
Nichole Collins, Yates Center, KS, to receive the Best 3-Dimensional Award.
