Bob Storey is a mayoral appointee from the 20th state senatorial district, being named to the Board in 2005 by Mayor William Bunten.
Storey is a lawyer in private practice and previously served as assistant general counsel for the Kansas Corporation Commission. He was a member of the Kansas State Senate from 1968 to 1976. Storey received a bachelor in business administration degree from Washburn University in 1961 and a juris doctor degree from the Washburn University School of Law in 1963.
He has served two one-year terms as chairman of the Washburn Board of Regents and his term as a Regent is to expire June 30, 2013.
