
James Klausman was appointed to the Washburn Board of Regents July 1, 2010 by Gov. Mark Parkinson. He received a bachelor's degree in political science from Washburn University in 1974.
Currently president and CEO of Midwest Health Inc., Klausman serves on the board of St. Francis Hospital, on the advisory board of US Bank and is a member of the Topeka Sales and Marketing Executives. He is past president of the Kansas Health Care Association and a past chairman of the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce.
He is currently serving his second one-year term as Chairperson.
His term as a Regent is to expire June 30, 2014.
