Kansas Board of Regents Representative

The Kansas Board of Regents appointed Bill Feuerborn to the Washburn Board of Regents September 17, 2015.  He has been a member of the Kansas Board of Regents since his appointment in 2014.

Feuerborn served as a state representative for the 5th District for 18 years, where he was the ranking democrat on the House Appropriations Committee from 2006-2012, having served on that committee from 1998-2012.  He received his associate degree from Independence Community College and a bachelor's degree from Pittsburg State University.  For the past 40 years Feuerborn has been a member of the Garnett Optimist Club, is a past president of the Anderson County School Board, and has been a member of the Kansas Livestock Association since the early 1980s.
