Washburn Tech is making its case to the community by investing in a new message board on the main campus. The LED sign was installed on May 23 in front of Building A along Huntoon Street.
The sign comes with graphics software that offers numerous text, art and color options. Messages can quickly be adapted to publicize activities or relay general information.
“We’ve been working on this project for quite some time and believe it will have an instant impact,” said Clark Coco, dean, Washburn Tech. “Through the new sign, we hope to give the community a better idea of who we are and what we do at Washburn Tech. In addition, it provides one more way for us to communicate with our students, instructors and staff while building school pride.”
Earlier this spring, a large logo was installed on the front side of Building A. The signage is part of a continuing effort to update the campus and transform it into an attractive place to learn and work.Originally published in the Tech Times newsletter.
