WSGA provides relaxation events to help students focus on finals

Four hours with dogs and cats, puppies and kittens from the Helping Hands Humane Society were a welcome distraction Friday from success week studying. The Washburn Student Government launched Dog Day of Finals in the fall and added kittens this semester.

Finals begin Saturday (for Saturday classes) and conclude on Friday, May 10. Make sure you know when and where your finals are happening.

WSGA's Race to the Finish programming continues until Tuesday.

• Sunday, May 5: FREE pizza and energy drinks beginning at 7 p.m. at Mabee Library. Mabee Library will be open continuously Sunday through Friday.
• Monday, May 6: FREE Billy Vanilly cupcakes and drinks at 10 p.m. in the Blair Room of the LLC.
• Tuesday, May 7: FREE pizza and an ICEE machine, beginning at 7 p.m. at Mabee Library.
• Friday, May 10: Mabee Library and the residence halls close at 6 p.m.

Semester grades will be available on MyWashburn on Thursday, May 16.
