Earlier this fall, Washburn
University commenced a campus master plan process that will create a long term
road map for the physical campus. This plan will address building use, learning
spaces, residential and campus life, open space, circulation and parking. Over
the course of the next seven months there will be many opportunities to engage
in this exciting effort:
An open forum for all faculty and staff will be held 1:30-2:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25 in the Kansas Room, Memorial Union to learn about the process and provide feedback.
We have also developed an interactive graphic survey that enables you to identify your favorite places on campus and how you move throughout the campus. The survey will take only 10 minutes. To get started, please click on the master plan website URL or copy and paste the URL into your browser: www.visionwashburn150.com
You are encouraged to bookmark this site to learn more about the master plan, provide feedback, and get engaged in the process.
Forums for students will be scheduled in the future.
Thank you,
President Jerry B. Farley
