The Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center opened in 1996 and is home to the Washburn University Alumni Association, vice president for academic affairs, vice president for administration and treasurer and office of institutional research. Features of the center include the Ruth Garvey Fink Convocation Hall, Doris Firestone Joss Garden and Washburn College Bible Room. Trivia: The alumni center is named after renowned graphic artist Bradbury Thompson, who designed the Washburn College Bible. Thompson also created the first visual representation of the Ichabod mascot.
