Proctoring Service Fees

The Center for Prior Learning and Testing provides proctoring services for both Washburn students and students from other universities. It is intended to accommodate students who need make-up exams, and NOT intended to be used as a service to proctor all exams for the same class. There is no charge for an individual student who needs a Washburn exam proctored, unless it is after hours or on a Saturday. In that case, there is a $10 charge to the student. Students needing an exam proctored for another university will be charged the correspondence test fee listed above. To request proctoring services students must fill out a Testing Services Request Form.  Please see the Proctoring page for more information.

As an auxiliary unit of the university, faculty members who use The Center for proctoring services for their entire class, are subject to fees as listed below:

  • Flat fee per class - $50/hour for up to 50 students
  • Flat fee per class - $75/hour for over 50 students

The Center for Prior Learning and Testing must be notified by the faculty at least 3 weeks ahead of time to make a request for whole group/class proctoring services.  In this circumstance, proctoring services will not be performed until payment has been received.  Requests can be denied if proctors and rooms are not available.
