• In addition to the University tuition and cost of books, a diagnostic medical sonography student is required to provide:
  • Uniforms (scrubs or suitable work clothing) and white lab coat
  • CPR certification and recertification fee(s)
  • Physical examination fee, possible drug screen if clinical site requires
  • Health Insurance
  • Background Check fee
  • Graduation pin
  • Scanner
  • Computer / Internet that meets the online learning requirements at Washburn University
  • Student membership to the SDMS
  • Trajecsys online reporting membership
  • Students are encouraged to become members of other local, state and national diagnostic medical sonography societies.
