Donald Crowder, MSW

Don Crowder

Don is a Kansas Social Worker licensed at the highest level, as a LSCSW. Don is a clinical social worker with a specialization in psychiatric social work. Don has 25 years in the behavioral health field originating as a Licensed Mental Health Technician working for the world famous Menninger Clinic. Don grew in the helping professions through roles as recreation therapy aide, mental retardation technician, care coordinator and mental health liaison. These experiences ranged in breath from inpatient psychiatry, community bound programs, partial hospitalization and outpatient clinics. Don began his professional practice in 1998 with his Masters in Social Work and immediately began a private practice.

Don’s primary caseload is currently with Military and Family life. Don travels worldwide to consult with children and families experiencing deployment. Don has been an Adjunct Faculty for Washburn University since 2008 teaching in the Applied Studies Department. Don has been an instructor for the Human Services and Social Work Departments teaching Assessment and Diagnosis, Human Development, Family Issues and Case Management.
