The Theatre Department at Washburn is seeking quality students. All students intending to enroll full-time are eligible. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, past performance and potential.
>Students interested in performance should prepare two 2-3 minute monologues or one monologue and a song exhibiting range, variety and versatility. All audition pieces must be memorized. For musical auditions, please bring a recording. An accompanist will not be provided.
>Students interested in design and technical production will be interviewed. A portfolio of prior work should be presented.
>All students must submit a short resume of prior work, transcript and photo. Please contact the Theatre Department office for further information.
> You must be a full-time student and enroll in three hours per semester in the Theatre Department.
>For Acting/Performance scholarships: You must audition for all productions and be available to perform, if cast, or to participate as assigned to technical /crew responsibilities on productions.
>For Design/Technical scholarships: You must be available to participate in technical/crew responsibilities on all productions.
