
In
recognition of the quality of School of Business programs, many alumni,
community leaders, and organizations have given generously to support academic
excellence with financial aid for students. Thanks to their generosity, we are able to offer
scholarships to both incoming and current business students who meet the
requirements.
Academic Scholarship as a New Student – The online application must be completed by February 15th. Please print your confirmation page to ensure your application was submitted properly. Selected students will receive the award for the following fall and spring semester.). Incoming freshmen must have a composite ACT score of 23 or higher and a high school cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Incoming transfer students must have a cumulative college GPA of 3.25 or higher to be eligible. Both freshmen and transfer students will need to submit a declaration of major in business by the end of the first term at Washburn to maintain their scholarship eligibility.
Marcoux Leadership Scholarship – The completed application must be submitted to the School of Business by February 15th. Selected students will receive the award the following fall and spring semesters.
A student who receives a Marcoux Leadership Scholarship may not also receive an academic scholarship from the School. Incoming freshmen applicants must have a 26 or higher composite ACT score and a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Current students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher to be eligible.

completion of the BBA degree.
Study Abroad Scholarship – The
completed application must be submitted to the School of Business by December 1
for spring study abroad and by April 1 for summer and fall study. If selected, awards will be
applied toward tuition expenses only for the term abroad. To be eligible,
you must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and have a minimum of 24
hours completed.
