No University scholarships are available for graduate nursing students.
The School of Nursing offers scholarships to qualified students admitted to the graduate program. Scholarship application forms are available in the School of Nursing office and must be submitted each year by February 15. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form by the priority deadline of March 1.
Students may apply through the Financial Aid Office for Stafford loans. Loans may be subsidized or unsubsidized, based upon financial need.
Students can apply for low interest loans through private banks. Interest repayment rates will vary based upon the applicant's credit evaluation. Information on securing private loans is available at the Financial Aid Office, Morgan Hall, Room 267, 785.670.1151.
Students are encouraged to seek additional financial aid through external scholarships.
