Washburn University has been evaluating three vendor products (Blackboard, Desire2Learn, and Canvas) to replace our current learning management system ANGEL. At the end of November, the Faculty IT Advisory Council, the Online Education Committee, and the Technology Steering Committee met to discuss the input from faculty, staff, and students, and to recommend an LMS for our campus. The recommended system is Desire2Learn and was approved by the Board of Regents on Friday, Dec. 7th, 2012.
