SUBJECT: School of Law Student Activity Fee
DESCRIPTION:
On October 30, 2002, the Washburn Student Bar Association approved an increase in the law school student activity $10 per semester, to $35 per semester, for a total fee of $70 per year per law student, effective with the fall 2003 semester. This requested was approved by Dennis Honabach, Dean of the School of Law, on November 20, 2002.
The WSBA requests this increase in order to provide funding to the various student groups it supports, and to be able to sponsor more academic and social activities under its name.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: None
RECOMMENDATION:
President Farley recommends that the Board approve this increase in the School of Law student activity fee for the 2003 - 2004 academic year.
