SUBJECT: ADA Door Hardware Upgrade for Morgan Hall

DESCRIPTION:

The FY06 Board approved Capital Improvement Projects and Equipment budget allocated funding for ADA door hardware for Morgan Hall. The project will consist of the replacement of existing door hardware with ADA compliant door hardware throughout Morgan Hall.

Proposals were submitted from the following vendors:

Vendor Base Bid for Hardware/Installation

Senne & Company Inc. $51,800.00

Bob Florence Contractor, Inc. $60,355.00

Kansas Building Systems, Inc. $63,649.00

Kendall Construction, Inc. $79,941.00

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

An expenditure of $51,800.00 from the FY 2006 Capital Improvement Fund is requested.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends approval to award a contract to Senne & Company, Inc. in the amount of $51,800.00.
