SUBJECT: CHANGES IN DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Description:

The attached details revisions to the following Department of Education programs.

A) Revision in the Masters of Education, Reading Specialist Program.

B) Revisions in the Elementary Education program at the Bachelor's level.

The revisions are necessary to comply with new Kansas Licensure Requirements.

The University Council approved the proposal on December 10, 2002.

The General Faculty approved the proposal on January 30, 2003.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends Board of Regents approval of the changes in the Department of Education Programs.
