SUBJECT: Personnel Action - Administrative Staff

DESCRIPTION:

Appointment of Melissa Eisenbarth, Accountant I, at an annual salary of $31,500. This is a reclassification of a vacant .75 FTE classified position, currently titled Office Assistant I in the Finance Office, to a 1.0 FTE administrative Accountant I position. This change will enable the University to utilize a degreed accountant to provide a greater level of assistance with the Finance Office's accounting and reporting responsibilities.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Salary of $31,500 maximum to come from the current $22,386 annual salary budgeted for the Office Assistant I position, and $9,114 from uncommitted salaries/wages in Vice President for Administration and Treasurer's budget.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends the Board of Regents approve the appointment of Melissa Eisenbarth at an annual salary of $31,500.
