SUBJECT: Faculty Personnel

DESCRIPTION:

Michael Manske, Associate Professor in the Criminal Justice Department in the School of Applied Studies, requests an extension of his military leave of absence for the Fall 2003 semester (effective August 1 through December 31, 2003), with the possibility of an extension of up to one year. Mr. Manske's active duty has been extended under Presidential Call-up orders as a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Mr. Manske's leave of absence will be unpaid.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends that the Board approve this leave of absence.
