SUBJECT: Replacement of Ceilings and Light Fixtures, Morgan Hall - Project C03033
This project is to replace the ceilings in the hallways of Morgan Hall. The current ceilings are in very bad shape with many sections falling down and stained. The new ceilings will allow for ease of work above the ceiling and improve the appearance of the hallways. Bids were solicited for the project and five bids were returned for evaluation. The base bids are for the older section of Morgan that contain the 1'x 1' tiles and the alternates are for the newer section of Morgan containing the 2'x 4' lay-in tiles. The work on the project will be in conjunction with the Fire Alarm installation project. The Capital Improvement funds from FY 2002-2003 for this project are $110,000.
