SUBJECT: Installation of Addressable Fire Alarm System, Morgan Hall - Project C04033
DESCRIPTION:
This project is a continuation of the replacement and modification of the existing fire alarm systems through-out campus, based on the system provided by SimplexGrinnell. To date, the following buildings have been up-dated: Bennett, Carnegie, Henderson, Mabee, Stoffer, Kuehne, West, Whiting, and a portion of Petro. Total cost for this project is $233,715.00. Capital Improvement funds budgeted for this project in FY 2003-2004 are $220,000. The remaining cost will be funded from savings with-in the Capital Improvement Fund.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
An expenditure of $233,715.00, from the FY 2003-2004 Capital Improvement Fund.
RECOMMENDATION:
President Farley recommends the Board of Regents approval to award a contract to SimplexGrinnell for installation of the fire alarm system in Morgan Hall.
