SUBJECT: Annual Request for Allocation From WEA Current Gift Fund

DESCRIPTION:

Each year, in conformance with established policies of the Washburn Endowment Association for its Current Gift Fund, the President recommends an amount to be allocated by WEA for the support of University activities and functions, such as the Strawberry Breakfast, Employee Recognition functions and University development and fundraising activities. Requests for payment certify the "requested disbursement constitutes a legitimate, allowable expense of Washburn University and meets public purpose criteria." The amount recommended for the ensuing fiscal year is $99,000.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: None.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends the Board ratify the recommendation to WEA for allocation of $99,000 from the WEA Current Gift fund for expenditures for University purposes.
