SUBJECT: Automation Control System for KTWU

DESCRIPTION:

KTWU is requesting approval to purchase an automation control system. The system will control four standard definition channels and one high definition channel. The automation control system is necessary for the transition to high definition television.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Funding for the automation control system will be 60% from the Digital Distribution Fund Round 6 and 40% from state funds.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends approval to award a contract to MicroFirst for $132,240.00.
