SUBJECT: Faculty Personnel

DESCRIPTION:

The following positions are required to staff classes in fall 2003.

Hire Paul Fecteau on a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track, renewable contract as a Lecturer in the English Department effective August 1, 2003.

Hire Patricia Kosinar on a full-time, 9-month, tenure track contract as an Instructor in the Communication Department effective August 1, 2003.

Hire Gabriele Lunte on a half-time, 9-month, renewable contract as a Lecturer in the Modern Languages Department effective August 1, 2003.

Hire Catherine Mallett on a full-time, 9-month, tenure track contract as an Assistant Professor and Director of Music Eduation in the Music Department effective August 1, 2003.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Paul Fecteau's annual salary will be $31,692 in position number 000897.

Patricia Kosinar's annual salary will be $38,004 in position number 000051.

Gabriele Lunte's annual salary will be $15,000 in position number 000896.

Catherine Mallett's annual salary will be $35,004 in position number 000898.

Communication Other Salary 6,540.00

CAS Salary Contingency 12,000.00

*New monies to substitute for Regents' contingency will be a top priority

for the FY 2004 budget when it comes forward in the fall.
