SUBJECT: Faculty Personnel

DESCRIPTION:

Professor Megan J. Ballard, School of Law, requests a leave of absence for the 2004-2005 academic year to be a Visiting Associate Professor at Gonzaga University School of Law. Gonzaga will provide Professor Ballard's salary and fringe benefits directly to Professor Ballard.

Professor Peter A. Cotorceanu, School of Law, requests a leave of absence for the 2004-2005 academic year to work with a firm in Zurich, Switzerland.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Professor Ballard's leave of absence will be unpaid.

Professor Cotorceanu's leave of absence will be unpaid.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends that the Board approve this faculty personnel request.
