SUBJECT: Faculty Personnel
DESCRIPTION:
The following positions are required to staff classes in fall 2003.
Hire Kathryn Hupp on a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track, renewable contract as Physical
Therapist Assistant Coordinator/Lecturer in the Allied Health Department effective August 1,
2003.
Hire Alan Bearman on a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track, renewable contract as a Lecturer in
the History Department effective August 1, 2003.
Revise Mary Dorsey Wanless' existing contract from .38 FTE to .75 FTE for the 2003-2004
academic year as a Lecturer in the Art Department effective August 1, 2003.
Hire Kimberly Hoffman on a half-time, 9-month, non-tenure track, renewable contract as a
Lecturer/Coordinator in the Education Department effective August 1, 2003.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Kathryn Hupp's annual salary will be $42,000 in position number 000333 ($38,820 from
position 000333 and $3,180 transferred from position 0003555).
Alan Bearman's annual salary will be $30,000 in position number 000905 ($30,000 temporarily
transferred for the 2003-2004 academic year from position 000064).
Mary Wanless' annual salary will be $32,328 in position number 000028 ($17,328 from position
000028 and $15,000 from Art Department Other Salaries).
Kimberly Hoffman's annual salary will be $15,000 in position number 000182 ($14,868 from
position 000182 and $132 from position A99979, Adjunct Salaries).
RECOMMENDATION:
President Farley recommends that the Board approve this faculty personnel request.
