SUBJECT: Replace Roof above Library at Law School - Project #C04046

DESCRIPTION: The existing roof is an EPDM rubber roof over a previous existing tar and gravel roof. The EPDM roof was installed in 1988. There have been on-going leaks with each rain causing damage inside the building.

Bids were received for the Roof Replacement; the low bid was $57,250.00. Capital Improvement funds of $100,800 were budgeted in FY 2003-2004 to do this project.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

An expenditure of $57,250, from the FY 2003-2004 Capital Improvement Account.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends the Board of Regents approve award of a contract to Diamond Everely Roofing to replace the roof above the library at the Law School.
