SUBJECT:

Permission to designate Edward Navone Professor Emeritus.     

 

DESCRIPTION:

Edward Navone is retiring after 42 years of service to Washburn University.  He has served the Art Department and Washburn with distinction since his initial employment in 1964.  His teaching interests include:  Figure Studio, Painting I & II, Figure Drawing, Drawing II and Conceptual Experimental Art.    He has had numerous exhibitions locally, statewide, and nationally.    

 

His service to the University includes serving on both the College and the University committees.   He has provided the University with outstanding teaching, service, and creative activity throughout his career that started in 1964.     

 

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

None

 

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends Edward Navone as Professor Emeritus.
