SUBJECT: Permission to Increase FTE and Salary

DESCRIPTION:

Revise contract for Yarlenis Coletta-Ensley, Lecturer of Modern Languages (position #000860), hired at FTE .75 at an annual salary of $24,996.00. Need to increase the FTE to 1.0 at an annual salary of $30,000.00, due to increased enrollment. Change would be for Spring 2005 only.

Revise contract for Gabriele Lunte, Lecturer of Modern Languages (position #000896), hired at .75 FTE at an annual salary of $22,500.00. Need to increase the FTE to .83 at an annual salary of $25,000.00, due to increased enrollment. Change would be for Spring, 2005 only.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Funding for this temporary change would come from College of Arts & Sciences Day Adjuncts account (100000-310000-601100-11000-CAS040).

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends the Board approve this increase in FTE and Salary request.
