SUBJECT: FY 2001 Budget Guidelines

DESCRIPTION:

The Administration is developing guidelines for the FY 2001 Budget in consultation with the Regents' Budget and Finance Committee which will meet February 10.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

The Guidelines will include a recommended tuition policy, budget for sales tax and state aid revenues, a recommendation for merit increase policy and operating expense increases, as well as permanent budget reductions to off-set lower enrollments.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley will present these at the February 17 meeting.
