SUBJECT: Faculty Personnel
DESCRIPTION:
At the end of the 2002 Spring semester, Dr. Terry Booth will retire as Assistant Professor of the Sociology and Anthropology Department after 33 years of service to Washburn University.
Dr. Booth joined the faculty of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology as an instructor in 1969, and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 1973. He is a dedicated teacher, readily available to his students. He has maintained the Anthropology lab, and has served on the Library Committee for countless years where, as a member, he contributed significantly to the department's holdings for their students.
The title Assistant Professor Emeritus is recommended in recognition of Terry Booth's long and distinguished career, and for his record of 33 years of contributions to the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, and Washburn University.

None
RECOMMENDATION:
President Farley recommends that the Board honor Dr. Terry L. Booth with the title, Professor Emeritus.
