SUBJECT: Faculty Personnel

DESCRIPTION:

JuliAnn Mazachek, Dean of the School of Business, requests a leave of absence from her position as tenured Associate Professor of Business through June 30, 2003 to serve as president of the Washburn Endowment Association effective February 7, 2002. If the leave of absence is to continue beyond that date, another request will be submitted to the Board.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Professor Mazachek's leave of absence would be unpaid.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends that the Board approve this extended leave of absence.
