Washburn University Board of Regents
Posthumous Bachelor of Business Administration Degree
The School of Business and its Dean recommend that the family of Mr. Ronald J. Snyder be honored for Mr. Snyder's diligence and determination by posthumously awarding him the Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Mr. Snyder began taking classes at Washburn in the fall of 1978 and had been earnestly pursuing his degree since the spring of 1987 while working at Hallmark Cards. He had completed 99 hours and had achieved senior standing.
Mr. Snyder was a role model for others as he diligently and tenaciously worked towards his degree in spite of his personal difficulties. He was a great inspiration for students and faculty, and was one of several generations of the Snyder family to attend Washburn.
President Farley recommends that the Board approve posthumously awarding the Bachelor of Business Administration degree to Mr. Ronald J. Snyder.
