SUBJECT: Purchase of Mattresses for the Living Learning Center and Kuehne and West Halls
DESCRIPTION:
The purchase is for 400 mattresses for the LLC and 82 mattresses for Kuehne and West Halls. The total amount includes all delivery and installation charges.
Quotations were solicited from ten companies. Six companies responded with quotations. The quotation specifications require installation of the mattresses. The award recommendation is to the lowest-price quotation meeting all specifications and requirements.

McKinney Bedding Did not meet specifications
Thompson Crawley $71,088.12
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funding of $26,360.00 is available from 03-00531 and the balance of $5,395.60 is available from 01-84099. Funding is within original budget estimates.
RECOMMENDATION:
President Farley recommends approval to award contract to Air Capital Mattress for $31,755.60.
