DESCRIPTION:



Hire Robert Beatty on a tenure track contract as Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science. Title/Rank will revert to Instructor if PhD not completed by end of August 2000.



Hire Lindsay Calhoun on a non-tenure track, one year, renewable contract as Lecturer in the Department of Communication. Must have MA by December, 2000 or contract is void. Renewable for up to three years beginning in the 2000-2001 academic year.



Hire Jane Carpenter on a non-tenure track, part-time (FTE.38) contract as Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing.



Hire Gary Forbach as Professor in the Department of Psychology, and Director of the Leadership Institute. (Forbach stepping down as department chair due to duties in Leadership Institute.)



Hire Laura Stephenson as Associate Professor/Chair in the Department of Psychology. (Stephenson replacing Forbach as chair.)



Hire Rachel Goossen on a tenure track contract as Assistant Professor in the Department of History. Two years credit toward tenure.



Hire Charles Heller on a tenure track contract as Assistant Professor in the Department of Military Studies. Two years credit toward tenure.



Hire Roberta Jolly on a non-tenure track contract as Lecturer in the Department of Education.



Hire Douglas H. Jones, on a tenure track contract as Instructor/Coordinator of the ultrasound program in the Department of Allied Health.



Hire Beth Brown Kane on a non-tenure track, one year, renewable contract, Lecturer position in the Department of HPEES.



Hire Rebecca Meador, on a tenure track contract as Assistant Professor in the Department of Music.



Reduce Cecil Schmidt appointment as Assistant Professor on tenure in the Department of Computer Information Science, from .75 to .56 for one year to pursue PhD coursework.



Hire Ann Marie Snook on a non-tenure track, one year, renewable contract as Lecturer in the Department of Music.



Hire Sandra Tutwiler as Associate Professor in the Department of Education. Three years credit toward tenure. (Tutwiler stepping down as associate chair of department.)



Hire Carol Vizzier as Associate Dean for Student Affairs in the School of Law.



Hire Rosemary Walker on a tenure track contract as Assistant Professor in the School of Business.



Hire Mary Dorsey Wanless on a non-tenure track, one year, renewable contract, as Lecturer/Photography in the Department of Art.



Hire Jill Lohmeier on a non-tenure track, half-time contract as Lecturer in the Department of Psychology.



FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:



Robert Beatty annual salary will be $34,500.00 ($33,000.00 from budget line item #26500-05-2, and $1,500.00 from budget line item #62000-22-4).



Lindsay Calhoun annual salary will be $28,008.00 from budget line item #15500-07-2.



Jane Carpenter annual salary will be $13,800.00 from budget line item #33000-13-2.



Gary Forbach annual salary will be $83,448.00 (.25 from budget line item #27500, and .75 from budget line item #26200).



Rachel Goossen annual salary will be $36,000.00 ($34,008.00 from budget line item #21500-01-2 and $1,992.00 from budget line item #17500-12-2).



Charles Heller annual salary will be $41,100.00 from budget line item #16500-09-2.



Roberta Jolly annual salary will be $38,304.00 from budget line item #17500-17-2 ($36,600.00 from budget line item #17500-17-2, and $1,704.00 will be transferred from budget line item #20500-03-2).



Douglas H. Jones annual salary will be $49,500.00 from budget line item #13-07980 ($5,501.00 from budget line item #29800-04-02, balance from grant funding).



Beth Brown Kane annual salary will be $29,004.00 from budget line item #20500-03-2.



Rebecca Meador annual salary will be $34,008.00 from budget line item #24500-03-2, #24500-06-2 and #24500-31-0. Must verify Doctoral degree by August 1, 2000 or rank will revert to Instructor at an annual salary of $33,000.00.



Cecil Schmidt annual salary will be reduced from $57,708.00 to $43,284.00.



Ann Marie Snook annual salary will be $33,504.00 from budget line item #24500-11-2.



Laura Stephenson annual salary will be $46,260.00 from budget line item #27500-05-2.



Sandra Tutwiler annual salary will be $41,220.00 from budget line item #17500-12-2.



Carol Vizzier annual salary will be $65,004.00 from budget line item #32500-37.



Rosemary Walker annual salary will be $50,508.00 from budget line item #32000-21-2.



Mary Dorsey Wanless annual salary will be $15,000.00 from budget line item #12500-12-2.



Jill Lohmeier annual salary will be $15,600.00 from budget line item #27500-13-2.
