SUBJECT: Change Orders Living Learning Center Project
DESCRIPTION:
The following change orders, which modify the contracts of the three prime contractors, are recommended.
1. Provide sprinkler sleeves under drives and walks for future irrigation system that were deleted when original landscaping alternate was not taken. Net increase: $3,091.35.
2.Additional 12" wide soffits at upper floors of Bldg. 1. Net increase: $8,500.00. (Approved by Board June 13, 2001 meeting.) The $8,500.00 was an estimate: actual costs for this change was $7,499.00 with results in a net decrease of $1,001.00.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Net increase in project cost of $2,090.35. Total commitment from contingency including this request is $325,133, leaving a $197,662 contingency balance.
RECOMMENDATION:
President Farley recommends approval of the change orders by the Board of Regents.
