SUBJECT: Renewal of Athletic Insurance Policy

DESCRIPTION:

The renewal date for the University's basic athletic insurance policy is August 1, 2000. This will be the second year of a five year agreement with Flynn and Associates to serve as the broker for this coverage. The premium for 2000/2001 is unchanged from that of 1999/2000, and all terms and conditions as well as the $1,000 deductible are unchanged.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

There is adequate funding to cover the premium of $25, 384.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends approval to purchase the renewal policy through Flynn and

Associates for the quoted premium of $25, 384.
