SUBJECT: Faculty Personnel

DESCRIPTION:

Hire Rosemary L. Walker as Visiting Lecturer in Economics, School of Business, on a one-year, non-tenure track appointment.

Hire David A. Slack as Assistant Professor of Athletic Training, Department of Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Science, on a tenure track appointment.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Walker's 1999-2000 salary will be $47,004, budget line 32000-21-2. To fully fund the line, $2,004 will be transferred from 32000-61-2 and $18,948 from 32000-28-2.

Slack's 1999-2000 salary will be $34,500, budget line 20500-08-2. To fully fund the line, $500 will be transferred from 17500-03-2(education).

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends that the Board approve these faculty requests.
