SUBJECT: Furniture for Lee Arena Athletic Center

DESCRIPTION:

Working in coordination with the architects, bids were solicited for furniture for the Lee Arena project. This furniture, delivered and installed, will complete the study room, booster room, private offices, board room, and reception rooms in the new Athletic Center. Only one bidder, BA Designs, submitted a complete and comprehensive bid in the amount of $119,637.28. The purchase is within the specific project budget for furnishings.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Expenditure of $119,637.28 from account number 03-00595 in the Building and Construction Fund.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends the Board of Regents approve the award of a contract in the amount of $119,637.28 to BA Design, LLC to provide furniture for the Lee Arena Athletic Center.
