SUBJECT: Faculty Personnel

DESCRIPTION:

Michael Manske, Associate Professor in the Criminal Justice Department in the School of Applied Studies, requests a military leave of absence for the Fall 2002 semester (effective August 1 through December 31, 2002), with the possibility of an extension of up to one year. Mr. Manske has been called to active duty as a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Mr. Manske's leave of absence will be unpaid.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends that the Board approve this leave of absence.
