SUBJECT: Faculty Personnel

DESCRIPTION:

Hire Becky Dodge on a full-time, 12-month, renewable contract as the Clinical Coordinator of Radiation Therapy and Lecturer in the Allied Health Department in the School of Applied Studies effective August 1, 2002.

Hire Margaret Hawthorne on a 3/4 time, 12-month, renewable contract as the Associate Director of the Leadership Institute and Lecturer effective August 1, 2002.

Hire Brent Johnson on a full-time, 12-month, renewable contract as Instructional Technology Librarian in the School of Law Library effective September 9, 2002.

Hire Mary Ramirez on a full-time, 9-month contract, renewable for up to one year, as a non-tenure track Associate Professor of Law in the School of Law effective August 1, 2002.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Becky Dodge's annual salary will be $48,000 from budget line 29600-08-2 ($38,700 from budget line 29600-08-2, $2,160 from vacant budget line 29600-03-2, and $7,140 from School of Applied Studies Other Salaries line 29500-21-0).

Margaret Hawthorne's annual salary will be $30,000 from budget line 26200-03-2 ($27,000 from budget line 26200-03-2 and $3,000 from Leadership Other Salaries 26200-21-0).

Brent Johnson's annual salary will be $45,000 from budget line 41000-11-1 ($41,556 from budget line 41000-11-1, $2,030 from budget line 41000-05-1, and $1,414 from School of Law Other Salaries line 32500-61-0).

Mary Ramirez' annual salary will be $70,320 from budget line 32500-06-2 ($52,500 from budget line 32500-06-2 and $17,820 from vacant budget line 32500-04-2).

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends that the Board approve this faculty personnel request.
