SUBJECT: Weight Lifting Equipment for the Athletic Department

DESCRIPTION:

The Athletic Department is requesting approval to purchase weight lifting equipment. The present equipment is in poor condition and does not meet the needs of the student athletes. Weight lifting equipment was approved for the FY03 Capital Improvements/Equipment Budget.

Quotations were requested from four companies with the responses as follows:

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends approval to award a contract to Advanced Exercise Equipment for $75,106.85.
