SUBJECT: Personnel Action Administrative Staff
DESCRIPTION:
Appointment of Cristina Carper to the newly created position of Director of Student and Development Affairs in the School of Business at an annual rate of $44,004, effective October 1, 1999.
Appointment of Laura Skillings to the newly created position of Grant Coordinator in the School of Applied Studies (Tech Prep Grant) at an annual rate of $28,008, effective October 4, 1999.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Carper position is funded 50% by WEA and 50% School of Business salary savings.
Skillings position is funded by SAS and Tech Prep Grant ($25,000 from account 13-06710, $3,008 from account 29501-00)
RECOMMENDATION:
President Farley recommends the Board of Regents approve the appointment of Ms. Carper at an annual salary of $44,004 and Ms. Skillings at an annual rate of $28,008.
