SUBJECT: FY 2001 Member SVC Assessment

DESCRIPTION: The annual assessment for membership in PBS by KTWU was received in mid-September, and provided for a two percent (2%) discount were payment made prior to October 15, 2000. As the assessment was not received in time to be considered at the last Board meeting, the administration, with approval from the Board Chair, made payment of this routine assessment so as to qualify for the discount.

FY 2001 Membership Service Assessment $89,990 Less discount $ 1,800

Total $88,190

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: Payment of $88,190 from account #40025. This is a budgeted expense in our FY 01 budget .

RECOMMENDATION: President Farley recommends Board ratification of this item.
