SUBJECT: PBS Station Independence Program Membership Renewal

DESCRIPTION:

Special Independence Program is a cooperative project among all PBS member stations to provide special programming for pledge drives.

In order to avoid late payment fees of approximately $3,000 (more than 10%), payment of this membership was made prior to November 1, 2000.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

There is adequate funding in KTWU's account 01-40025 to cover the $28,794 fee.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends Board ratification of this payment.
