SUBJECT:

Re-roofing for Mabee Library.

 

 

DESCRIPTION:

This project is to replace the 24-year old roof on Mabee Library.  The bids were as follows:

Vincent Roofing$102,000      - $3,000

Guilfoyle Roofing115,314        - 4,500

Weathercraft Roofing116,139        - 4,924

 

* Alternate No. 1 was a 3-ply roof (15-year warranty) in lieu 4-ply (20-year warranty) in base bid.

 

 

 

 

 

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Expenditure of $102,000 from Capital Improvement Account 03-00302.

 

 

 

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends the Board of Regents approve the Award of Contract to Vincent Roofing for the base bid amount of $102,000 to re-roof the Mabee Library.
