SUBJECT: Eminentes Universitatis
DESCRIPTION: The Eminentes Universitatis designation is an award to long-term administrative or classified employees who: have served a period of twenty years or more; retire in good standing; and, have performed their assignments meritoriously.
The Vice President for Administration and Treasurer, John Moore, recommends the Board bestow the designation of "Eminentes Universitatis upon Dolores J. Lewis. As is true of many of Washburn's employees, Ms. Lewis is a loyal and dedicated staff member. She has served as the University's Controller the past eighteen years and responsible for the payroll, accounting and cashiering areas. Ms. Lewis consistently has performed the many and various tasks assigned to her in the demanding Controller's position in "outstanding manner." Ms. Lewis not only has been a valuable employee, she also is an alumna of the University who graduated cum laude with the BBA degree and also was a Schultz Scholar and a School of Business Scholar.
Ms. Lewis richly deserves the award of Eminentes Universitatits.
